Terms of Service
By using Rakaat, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
Using Rakaat
- Rakaat is provided for personal, lawful use as a prayer companion.
- You are responsible for how you use the app and your device settings.
- The app may evolve over time as features are improved.
Prayer Time Guidance
- Prayer times are calculated from your selected method, madhab, and location data.
- Prayer time calculations are powered by the open-source Adhan library by batoulapps.
- Results can vary based on location precision, timezone, or user settings.
- You should verify times with your local mosque or trusted authority when needed.
Subscriptions and Billing
- Premium plans are offered as monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
- The monthly subscription includes a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the monthly subscription fee.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase or after the free trial period ends.
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
- Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled entirely by Apple under your Apple ID and Apple's policies.
Data and Availability
- Rakaat is local-first and may optionally sync through iCloud when enabled by you.
- Some features depend on Apple services, permissions, or internet availability.
- Service availability is not guaranteed at all times.
Disclaimer and Liability
- Rakaat is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.
- To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the app.
- These terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
- By using Rakaat, you also acknowledge and agree to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
